lived in this vicinity. 
 
Anderson Intelligencer, 29 July 1868, notice of sheriff's sale, property of CP 
Dean, 367 ac. on Saluda River, bd. by John Poor, Elizabeth Cox, and others, suit 
of OR Broyles, assignee.

Anderson Intelligencer, 9 Sep. 1868, "In Equity--Anderson."  Bill to foreclose 
mortgage, sale of mortgaged tracts of Charles P. Dean.  367 ac. west side of 
Saluda River in Anderson Dist., adj. Milton Cox, John Poor, and Jack Poor.  230 
ac. on Saluda R., Greenville Dist, adj. Aaron Thompson, L. Lenheart, and Jesse
